Our practice of sexual fidelity in particular, is this from Higher Purposes or cultural?) Has become a symbol of bonding, integrating one with another to create that higher bonded mated energy working in perfect harmony. Sexuality has become a great focal of that relationship called marriage. While we can marry many things together, the human marriage portends of greater things. Creating a oneness, versus individuality. Perhaps when they grow out of this phase, they will find that one can be married and individually function as well. You are confused by mores of the people with which you live and your thoughts are, of necessity, to provide stability and belief systems with those that you deal with versus those that are the true self. You may choose to formalize your relationship for others, it is not necessary for yourself, unless you choose to cleave to the mores in which you live.
