A Discussion Of Time, Predictions, & Prophecies

Spirit created the mind out of its own essence. Mind is the part of spirit that carries out the will of spirit. Just as builders build rooms within a house to create an illusion of separate spaces within one space, the mind builds dimensions within the mind to create illusions of separation within spirit. Among these illusions is time.

As spirit shifts the focus of the mind from one dimension to another, the mind is "tricked" into thinking of this shift as the passage of time. By arranging this passage of time into a logical sequence of events, mind creates dimensions of time you call "past", "present" and "future".

It would seem possible to predict the future simply by looking into those dimensions of the mind having to do with the future. This is yet another "myth of the mind" you have created to satisfy your human urges for stability and control.

You protest. You argue "psychics", "hunches", "intuition", and "dreams" regularly predict the future correctly. Of course, they just as regularly predict the future incorrectly. Allow me to enlighten you as to why with an illustration comparing the mind to an elaborate maze.

To Illustrate

Imagine you are an explorer in a maze of a infinite number of passageways. Imagine you mark each passageway as you explore it. We shall name the marked passageways your "past". We shall name the passageways you have not marked your "future". We shall name any point where you are in the maze your "present".

Already you can see it is possible to be present in passageways of the past and of the future. The points at which past, present and future intersect are, of course, the points of time travel, which we shall discuss in another section of this book.

As with the dimensions of the mind, you are free to journey through the maze as you will. You can explore many passageways or a few. You can even choose to remain in one place the entire time you are in the maze.

What would you explore remaining in one place? The answer is more than you imagine, or more precisely, all that you imagine. The reason is that the passageways, like the dimensions of the mind, are halls of mirrors. Only these mirrors reflect the images of thought as well as form.

Imagine such a maze! Just learning to discern between the images of form and the images of thought would be an exciting journey of discovery. Moreover, the images would change continually because you are changing continually.

You are not alone in the maze and every encounter with another affects you. However minutely, you change and as you change, the images in the mirror change too.

Let us make this maze even more like the mind. Let us say that the mirrors in the passageways reflect not only all that in them but all that has ever been in them. What would this be like?

It would be quite similar to memory. When you revisit your memories what you remember changes continually. Memory is colored by perception and emotion. As you change, your perceptions and emotions change. As your perceptions and emotions change, memory changes. The "old" is not replaced by the "new", but each now exist. Which has the greater effect upon you depends entirely upon where you focus your attention.

This is again similar to the maze. When you explore a passageway of your past, reflected in the mirrors are the images of what happened in that passageway before along with what is happening in it now. The images that draw your attention will standout from those that hold less interest for you.

You have now explored the concept of past and the present existing simultaneously and how easily you can be in both simultaneously. What, then, of the future?

Imagine you step into a passageway in the maze that you have not yet explored. This is a passageway of the future. Yet, you are present in it. Imagine you can see the images in the mirrors along the length of this passageway. You now know what has been in this passageway and what is there now, but you do not know what will happen as you move through the passageway and encounter others in it for these encounters will change you and them.

The mind is extraordinary. No computer has yet been developed, nor is one ever likely to be, that can match the mind in all of its abilities. The mind is capable of analyzing past and present and thus calculating the most likely outcome for the future. It is even capable of calculating all possible changes in the past and the present to project all possible outcomes for the future. What the mind cannot do is calculate WHICH of these WILL happen. Spirit can change its mind instantly, and when the mind changes, everything changes.

Is it any wonder your Higher Selves refuse to make predictions? You frequently confuse the guidance of Higher Selves with predictions. Think again of being in the maze. Think of your Higher Selves as above the maze, not in it, and able to see far more of the maze than do you. The Higher Selves are in an excellent position from which to give you valuable guidance. They do not predict and they do not direct. They respect your will and honor your right to choose as you will. They respect, as well, the will of others and recognize that the "maze" changes continually.

The same is true of Higher Spirit. Though Higher Spirit has an even greater view of the "maze" than do the Higher Selves and can observe the past, present, and future of everyone in the "maze", Higher Spirit neither directs nor predicts. Higher Spirit does offer guidance. At times, this guidance comes in the form of prophecies.

Prophecies differ from predictions in that predictions foretell what might be, can be, or is most likely to be. Prophecies foretell what will be because spirit has willed it. There are two types of prophecies: Those that warn to prepare for what will be and those that warn what will be if spirit does not change what it has willed.

You have long been warned that you cannot willfully upset the balance of Nature without meeting the consequences of this imbalance. Nature will restore the balance. This cannot be avoided. It has already begun. The restoring of this balance will bring great destruction to the life forms of the planet, including human life forms.

The guidance of Higher Spirit is to not fear what is unfolding for the balance must be restored. The guidance of Higher Spirit is to do as much as you can do to restore the balance yourselves for in doing so you will lessen the period of destruction and its severity.

The guidance of Higher Spirit is to accept and embrace Light’s offer to assist you, for with Light’s assistance it is possible to restore the balance while bringing in greater enlightenment and good for yourselves.

A Light Prophecy

I Am Light. I Am Your Light. I Am The Creator Light of all Spirit. Lift your awareness to the light within you and you release your power to create. Choose wisely, for you shall create with your light that which you focus on.

Focus on imbalance, and you shall create imbalance. Focus on illness and you shall create illness. Focus on war, pestilence, chaos, destruction and you shall create war, pestilence, chaos, and destruction. Focus on fear and you shall create fear. Focus on judgment and you shall create judgment. Focus on the "end days" and you shall create "end days".

Focus on what you will for you, for you have the right to choose what you will. You have not the right to choose for others, for they, too, have the right to choose what they will. If you focus on peace for those who want war, or love on those who scorn love, you are not honoring or respecting their will. They will hate you in their hearts for this and they will block your light with their light.

You do not know what is best for others. You do not know what is best for earth. If you would help others, focus ONLY on the light of your spirit joining the light of their spirit. They will feel your honor and your respect. If you would help the earth, focus ONLY on joining the light of your spirit with the light of earth’s spirit. Nature will feel your honor and your respect.

This is so simple and so difficult for you to do for your minds are long accustomed to making judgments as to what is "good" and what is "bad". Judge not. Focus on the light within. In this choice, you will accomplish all that is to your greater good.
